This is a relaxing and pretty walk which can be extended  at the end.

Set off from Termini. With your back to the church, take the minor road to the side of the grocery store but quickly turning left onto the lane in front of the little ceramics shop (well worth a visit if open). After a few metres it turns right onto steps and quickly becomes very steep. Keep on going until you come to  the village of Nerano. Walk down  through its quaint alleyways (slippery in wet weather) until you come into the square opposite the church. Go down the steps and take the path to the side of the church and keep on going downhill, crossing the main road a couple of times. This will eventually bring you to the pebbled beach of Marina del Cantone, manic in July and August and at weekends in good weather. Out of season it is peaceful and picturesque.

Once down at the beach, walk to the far left hand side, passing between two restaurants: Maria Grazia (where the most famous dish of the region was born: pasta with zucchini) and Il Cantuccio.

The path winds uphill, hugging the coast around the headland. Don't forget to look back every now and then to admire the views of the bay. Ahead you can see the I Galli islands, once belonging to the Russian ballet dancer Rudolph Nureyev and now owned by a Sorrento hotelier for private use. Next comes a crumbling watchtower with tufts of vegetation sprouting from its stones. The path continues down to the pebbled beach of Recommone. Time for a swim.

From here, you can either go back the way you came, or in the summer you can walk up the steep and twisting lane to the side of the restaurant Conca del Sogno which will eventually bring you to the Sirenuse campsite. The owners will allow you to pass through the grounds and then you can walk along a paved  lane until it joins the main road. Walk up the road as far as Nerano and then back up to Termini.

Technically there is another possible itinerary from Recommone which would eventually take you to Sant'Agata via Spina however it is extremely badly maintained, often infested with brambles and thick vegetation and I really do not recommend it.
